On a “community” youth night, you can expect to put rubber to the road with practical service.
There is no “usually” on community night. We go wherever we need to go at whatever time. That could be 4:30PM at the Caring Place Soup Kitchen, where we prepare and serve dinner to the homeless and then clean-up. We’ve also hit up Tea-Time at the senior’s centre. Chatting it up with seniors who just want someone to listen. We’ll pick up garbage, paint over graffiti, or hang out in the common room of a low-income housing project. This is your chance to love others with your time and energy.
